The demonstration, to be hosted by Sophie Wright, winner of the Craft Guild of Chefs Graduate Award in 2006, will last for 45 minutes and look at basic preparation of game along with an outline of recipe suggestions. Sophie Eleanor Wright, age 21, is a freelance chef/food writer. She is due to release her first cookery book in late October 2008 with the second in close pursuit. She makes regular appearances on BBC2 and ITV as well as online demonstrations and food styling for selected magazines. Sophie looks forward to encouraging other chefs to include game in their repertoire. Hotelympia is one of the world's leading foodservice and hospitality shows and has been an integral part of the UK market for almost 75 years. Alexia Robinson, of Game-to-Eat said: “Game-to-Eat is delighted to again be involved with Hotelympia and the skillery by Sophie Wright. Game is fantastically versatile and it requires minimum preparation and is quick to cook . Robinson continues: “Wild, natural and free range, game is a great choice for people who want something delicious and healthy in their diet. It is lower in fat and cholesterol than many other red meats and is a good source of protein and vitamins.” Game-to-Eat, now in its 7th year, was set up to increase enjoyment and awareness of cooking with game meat. NB. The Glorious Game demonstration takes place on Thursday 21st February from 11.30am-12.15pm.
